Fascinating, poignant auto-fiction on family and childhood/adolescence. Occasionally the essayistic digressions about art lose me, but I skim them and get back to the interpersonal stuff if I’m not interested. The narrator of the audiobook is one of the few I’ve found who I can pay attention to. Volume 2 of this series is also great.
